Only two days until the show starts..
On Wednesday May 2 09.00 am, the doors will open to the fourth edition of the Danish international maritime exhibition – the Danish Maritime Fair – which takes place in the event venue Lokomotivværkstedet located in Copenhagen.
At the fair, visitors will have the chance to meet a long list of both Danish and foreign maritime exhibitioners, who are there to showcase their products and competences.
A large number of equipment manufactures will be present, as well as maritime organizations, NGO’s and authorities, and last but not least ship-owners.
Danish Shipping, the Danish shipping organization who represents the biggest Danish shipping companies, will be present with their own lounge at the fair – and even German shipping companies have found their way to the fair.
Danish Maritime Fair is open Wednesday and Thursday from 09.00 am to 17.00 pm and on Friday from 09.00 am to 15.00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the event entrance, but the easiest way to secure a ticket is via the fair’s website: www.danishmaritimefair.dk.
Aside from hosting the many exhibitors, Lokomotivværkstedet will host multiple maritime conferences, workshops and meetings. Most of these activities are unfortunately at capacity, but it is still possible to purchase tickets to the brand new conference, Opening Oceans Conference, which takes place on both Wednesday and Thursday.
Claus V. Hemmingsen, Vice CEO of A. P. Møller – Mærsk, and Esben Lunde Larsen, Danish Minister for Environment and Food, will be among those present at the Opening Oceans Conference on Wednesday.
Brian Mikkelsen, Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, will give a speech at the other large conference, which takes place alongside the Danish Maritime Fair, Danish Maritime Technology Conference. This conference will have His Royal Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark as ceremony speaker on the opening day Wednesday.
Danish Maritime Fair is a part of Danish Maritime Days, is a broad cooperation between key actors in the Danish maritime industry organized by Danish Shipping, Danish Maritime and the Danish Maritime Authority.
Lokomotivværkstedet is located in the area of Sydhavn in Copenhagen, almost at the center of the city. The address is Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 København.
